Don't forget to set your clocks an hour ahead. This happened yesterday if you missed it.
Time if flying by, we're only done with week 1 of block 2!!
Students,
Class registration for continuing students will take place in April, and for the first time we will have on-line registration. In order for you to register for classes, you will need to log onto Campus Online (wscn.edu/Current Students/Student Portal), which is now called the Student Portal, and set up a login id and password. Also, while you set up your account you will be given the option to include your cell phone number so that in case of an emergency (think NIU and Virginia Tech) or days of severe weather, a text message can be sent to you immediately.
Class Registration will take place April 16-22 with open registration until April 25 (note that it was pushed back by a week and a half); you may only register during your assigned time which is according to your program of study. If you miss your designated registration day, you can register during the open registration time frame.
April 16-Evening and Weekend students only; 6:00 pm – 11:59 pm
April 17-Fast Track Students only; 7:00 am-11:59 pm
April 18-Seniors graduating in December only; 7:00 am -11:59pm
April 21-Generic Students who started in Fall 2007 7:00; am-11:59 pm
April 22-Generic Students who started in Spring 2008; 7:00 am-11:59 pm
April 23-25 Open Registration
Registration Procedure:
Initially all students will have a “registration hold” placed on their record.
Make an appointment with your academic advisor to discuss your classes and to remove the hold (only your academic advisor can remove the hold; faculty will not have access to students who are not assigned to them).
During your appointed time, login to the Student Portal and register for your classes.
Non-Fast Track or Non-Evening and Weekend students wishing to take summer classes
At this time, only Fast Track and Evening and Weekend students will be permitted to take any summer courses.
Please let me know if you have questions. If you’re having problems with the Student Portal, contact the Instructional Technology help desk at x3070.
I do not have detailed registration directions at this time, but as soon as I do, I will send them out. Furthermore, if there are any changes or updates, I will send another email.
