Student Organizations

Student Government Organization
SGO is the student governing body responsible for representing students on academic committees, allocating student activity funds, and providing educational and social activities for students. There are elected officers, however, every student is a member of SGO and is encouraged to attend meetings.

Student Nurses Association
SNA is a pre-professional nursing organization dedicated to providing leadership and growth opportunities for future nurses. Members participate in activities such as community service projects and regional and national conferences. All nursing students are eligible to join.

Nurse’s Christian Fellowship
NCF aims to help nurses discover what it means to know God through a relationship with Jesus Christ and to live out that relationship in nursing, bringing hope to our colleagues and those in our care. Members meet for prayer, bible study, mutual encouragement, and outreach. All nursing students are eligible to join.

Volunteer Opportunities
Many volunteer opportunities are available to students in the community and through West Suburban Medical Center. In addition, many students act as Student Ambassadors assisting with college functions including New Student Orientation, Scholarship Tea, Senior Recognition, and Alumni reunions.
