Strategic Plan 2008-2011

Strategic Planning Overview

We began the creation of the new 2008-2011 Strategic Plan session by convening a special session of the Resurrection Health Care (RHC) system members of the College Board, Sr. Kathleen, Jim Hill, Jay Kreuzer, and Beca Jones on 2-8-08.  Members provided overviews of their future vision for the College, the past history of accomplishments and accreditation milestones for the College at the Strategic Plan Retreat day.

We held a Strategic Plan Retreat day on 3-13-08 with a broader group of representatives from College students, faculty, administration and members of RHC representing education, nursing and key support services.  The Retreat group reviewed the College’s:

• Vision, Mission, Values,
• Opportunities & Challenges,
• 2005 Strategic Plan & Progress, and
• 2008 - 2011 Strategic Goals

A summary of interview data was provided by consultant, Dr. Jane Perlmutter to assist in identifying additional opportunities and challenges.  Hidden agenda items involved:

• Exercises to increase awareness of the College’s opportunities and challenges  throughout RHC, and
• Identification of opportunities for more successful partnering between the College and other RHC support service groups.
