Graduation

• Intent to Graduate
  Students: Submit this form to the Registrar’s Office before the end of the 5th week of your final semester.
  Please also indicate if you plan to attend the pinning and graduation ceremonies.
• Senior Checkout
  Students: Please complete the "Senior Check-out Form" after the conclusion of your last course. This form must be submitted by Friday, April 30th at 2pm.

*Students must arrive by 9:15am to prepare for Graduation.

Regalia
Commencement regalia may be ordered online until Tuesday, March 16th. 

• Cap and gown rental is $21.25 for Bachelor’s gowns and $42 for Master’s gowns.
• All major credit cards are accepted. 
• Visit www.herffjones.com/college/graduation and select “West Suburban College of Nursing” from the pull-down menu, and follow the remaining instructions to order. 
• All students participating in the ceremony are required to wear a cap and gown.  Undergraduates will be able to keep the gold tassel and cap after the ceremony.  

Invitations and Tickets
Invitations for the graduation ceremony will be available in the Office of Enrollment Management starting
March 16th. 

• Each graduate will receive ten invitations to graduation. 
• Guests will not be required to show an invitation for admittance in to the graduation, however they must RSVP by April 30th at 4:30pm. 

Tickets to the pinning ceremony will be distributed during rehearsal, after pictures have been taken.
Date and time to be announced.

• Guests must show their tickets for admittance to the pinning ceremony.

Pictures
A professional photographer will take individual pictures and a group photo the day of the rehearsal, May 3, 2010 from 2-4pm, at the Drury Lane Theater.

• Caps and gowns must be worn for these photos.
• The college will mail a copy of the group photo to each student.
• Students who would like to order additional photos may contact the photographer directly.

Nursing Pinning Ceremony and Ordering Pins
The Nursing Pinning ceremony will be held on Friday, May 7, 2010.

• All guests must present their tickets at the door. Each graduate will receive 2 tickets. Pinning ceremony tickets will be dispersed after pictures are taken at the rehearsal.
• Students may purchase a pin for the ceremony. (Pins are not mandatory for participation)
• Nursing pins may be ordered in the Office of Enrollment Management starting February 1st.  Order forms and a sample pin are available for viewing at the front desk. 
• Payment may be made via credit card, money order or check payable to Herff Jones.  Sorry, cash is not accepted. 
• A representative will be on campus Tuesday, March 16th from 11:00 to noon, and again from 4:00 to 5:00pm in room 302 to take orders and answer questions.
• March 16th is the last day to order pins.

Graduation Rehearsal
Rehearsal for the graduation ceremony will be held at Drury Lane Theater on May 3, 2010
from 2-4pm.

• All graduates participating in the ceremony are required to attend rehearsal.
• Pictures will be taken immediately after the rehearsal.
• Tickets to the pinning ceremony will be distributed this day.

Graduation Ceremony
The Graduation Ceremony will be on Saturday, May 8th at the Drury Lane-Oak Brook in Oak Brook Terrace, IL, from 10:00am - 12:00pm. 

• Graduates should arrive no later than 9:15am. 
• The ceremony will begin promptly at 10:00am. 
• Please remind family and friends that balloons and signs are not allowed in the theater. 

Student I.D.
You must turn in your student identification card to the Office of Enrollment Management after your last class!
