Health Informatics and Information Management (HIIM)
Students who have completed all general education requirements and HIIM
support courses and are seeking a bachelor’s degree are considered
transfer students. Students are admitted directly into the program. An
applicant will be considered for admission into the program as a transfer
student if he or she meets the following criteria:
- Submits a completed application.
- Submits official transcripts from all colleges attended.
- Earned a minimum cumulative college grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.75 (on a 4.00 scale).
- Was in good academic standing at the last college attended.
- Submits one Letter of Recommendation from an academic adviser, a
teacher, an employer, or someone other than a friend or relative who
can comment on the applicant’s academic background and/or
character.
- Write and submit a two-page essay (see Application Essay Questions).
- Submit an application fee of $30.
