Graduate Nursing Overview
The letter of recommendation should give the admission committee some insight on a student's ability to practice as a nurse. The letter should address the student's intellectual ability and the retention and application of information learned, originality and flexibility of thought, command of written and verbal skills, self-reliance and initiative, dependability, organizational skills, and the ability to work with others. The required letter of recommendation should be written on school or company letterhead.
Letter of Recommendation Form
- This form must be included with the Letter of Recommendation
- The top portion of this form needs to be completed by the prospective student and the bottom portion of the form needs to be competed by the individual(s) submitting the letter of recommendation
- WSCN requires that the individual submitting the letter of recommendation is printed on company letterhead, preferably a college professor of an employer
