Book vouchers are usually available a week before the start of the semester for eligible financial aid students. Book vouchers allow students to purchase books using their financial aid funds. The voucher is a credit given to the student until the school receives the financial aid funds. Students who will have enough money remaining in their accepted financial aid awards after the deduction of school charges are considered an eligible student. A Financial Aid Authorization form giving the school authorization to deduct the book voucher from the student’s financial aid monies is also necessary.
The voucher is only valid through MBS Direct Book Store. The voucher will be electronically issued and usually expires after the first Saturday of the semester. Students will receive an email from MBS Direct informing them of their available book voucher. Books for the semester, not the session, should be purchased when using the voucher. Otherwise the student will be responsible for buying their books for the next session of the term. Any amount spent for purchasing books will be deducted from the student’s financial aid awards along with other school charges.
