Minimum Qualifications:
-Required 1-3 years experience working in an academic Registrar's or Records office.
-Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred.
The Registrar is responsible for the maintenance of student academic and demographic records; class registration, degree audit; collection of statistical information, data analysis, and report preparation. The Registrar also evaluates degree plans, policies and procedures, and makes recommendations for implementation of enhancements to promote continuous quality improvement.
Successful candidates will demonstrate technical skill with student information systems/databases, including Campus Vue and imaging software, and will possess experience managing multiple projects in a fast paced environment. Additionally, candidates must possess excellent written and oral communications skills and have the ability to work with and understand the needs of adult students and diverse constituencies.
Other preferred qualifications include experience with transfer credit evaluation, graduation processing, degree audit; and the National Student Clearinghouse.

The Academic Technical Support Specialist supports faculty and student use of information technologies. This position will share up-to-date knowledge about instructional hardware and software across the nursing discipline; provide expertise with multimedia and instructional development tools; offer training, documentation, and advanced computing support to faculty; and work with faculty members to plan and implement curricular projects. This position provides user support for hardware and software to meet needs related to instruction and collaborates in the planning of technology-rich labs and classrooms. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Instructional Technology/Design, Information Systems or other related fields. At least two to three years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified in an academic environment.

- Clinical Placement Coordinator

The Clinical Placement Coordinator is the primary contact between West Suburban College of Nursing and area health care agencies that are used for student clinical experiences. Responsibilities include initiating and maintaining clinical contracts through relationship building in the Chicagoland area, coordinating agency orientations and assisting in preceptor training.
Following consultation with the Dean of Nursing, the clinical placement coordinator is responsible for negotiating and arranging clinical experiences which meet the educational requirements for students in the nursing program. In addition, the coordinator arranges placements for students from other educational institutions requesting clinical experiences in West Suburban College of Nursing.
The coordinator acts as a liaison to interpret and match the needs of students and instructors to agencies with appropriate learning experiences. The coordinator is responsible for complex communication and problem solving to maintain positive working relationships with a variety of contacts inside and outside the College. The coordinator operates from a solid understanding of nursing education and practice, combined with knowledge of the organizational environments where nurses practice.
The coordinator arranges clinical placements for baccalaureate and master level students of the nursing program in a variety of settings (e.g. hospitals, non-profit agencies, community health settings, schools, day care, long term care facilities, assisted living facilities, home care, and corporations) throughout the Chicagoland area.
