Confidentiality

The counselor is committed to creating a safe and secure environment for the student. All information is kept strictly confidential and the office abides by state and federal laws, as well as upholding professional ethical standards. Exceptions to confidentiality might occur with cases where a threat of harm to self or others, an indication of child or elder abuse, or a signed judge’s subpoena requests information.
