GENERIC OPTION

Students enrolled in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program, generic option, on a full-time basis are expected to complete the program in four consecutive semesters. Students may choose the five semester plan.

FAST TRACK OPTION

The accelerated option program is designed for students who are seeking a second bachelor’s degree or who have excelled in their general education and pre-nursing courses at the associate degree level. The program is designed so that students may complete the program in sixteen months by maintaining a full-time course load and attending school year round. All prerequisite courses must be completed before entering the program.

EVENING AND WEEKEND OPTION

The Evening and Weekend Option is for working adults who want to return to school to earn their bachelor of science in nursing degree, and maintain a daytime job or tend to other responsibilities.

RN-BSN COMPLETION OPTION

Graduates of a state-approved or an NLNAC-accredited program (i.e., an associate’s degree or diploma program) with a current Illinois registered professional nurse license will be awarded 38 semester hours of credit for the following nursing courses pending successful completion of NUR 3130 Health Assessment and Promotion and NUR 3620 Contemporary Nursing Practice.
