Lifelong Learning
An overarching goal of the College’s technology initiatives is to promote education for a lifetime, by providing students the skill sets and tool kits that enable lifelong learning, and by developing new programs to meet the evolving training needs of the workplace.
This Strategic Plan presents the IT vision, mission, strategic goals, and operational plans for the next five years, which, in concert with other College information technology providers, will enable the College to achieve its goals and attain world-class status.
Media Services
The Department of Information Technology is responsible for the college Media Services Unit. The IT staff members perform the duties of Media Services activities by providing users training on how to use the equipment and keeping track of the equipment check as part of the daily routine.
Equipment Reservations
Information Services maintains all Media Services equipment including digital cameras, laptop computers, TVs, VCRs, video projectors, and DVDs. Training and instructions are provided on how to use the equipment. IT staff are available to provide technical support to all users.
Equipment reservation is done through the MediTech online system, via e-mail and phone systems. IT encourages users to make reservation 3 to 4 days prior to using the equipment to avoid confusion.
